We are interested in what YOU want to have for your event...
While many restaurants have a Pre-Set Banquet Menu...we like to create events for our guests. It may take a few minutes more, but wouldn't you rather have the menu that you REALLY WANT? Not be forced into a checklist of pre-selected items that may not convey the feeling and
flavors your REALLY desire!?

Let us know the kinds of food you're interested in, the kinds of guests you're planning on having, some ideas about wine and drinks, and we'll come up with a great mix of choices that gives you the power to craft just what YOU WANT.

Our restaurant is decorated simply and in a bistro style.  We have large artistic photos on our walls of varying topics.  We feature local artists and update our selection every few months.


The restaurant is long and narrower with an open kitchen  design.  Seating is as follows...

  • Front Room near entrance 30 people at tables
  • 8 people at bar which can also be setup without chairs to accommodate an "Open Bar"
  • "Lovers Lane" seats 10 at tables of 2
  • Front room can be WITHOUT tables or adjusted to fit a large number of different setups.
  • Back Dining Room seats approximatelyl 45

We are able to rent out the restaurant for functions, price is dependent on menu desired, day of the week and setup desired.  Please call us (301.654.3737) or email and ask any questions, we're probably able to fit your budget, desired event and situation.  Just give us a call and we'll find an answer.

We feature a full bar and culinary service.  IF you don't see it on our menu, please ask us, we're happy to accommodate!

More specifically, here are some general ideas around planning your event.


Have in mind the following ideas and details...(again, see the checklist for help)
  • Day of the week
  • How many people
  • How long of an event
  • Number of Courses (Appetizers, Salad, Entree, Dessert)
  • Alcohol, how much, what type, budget
  • Your overall budget, PLEASE BE UPFRONT, we can work with ANY budget
  • A deposit is required to hold your date...usually 30% of overall cost
  • We are FLEXIBLE!  Let us know what your ideas are, we'll make it happen!

Generally...many of our parties follow this format (only a suggestion)

~Family Style (platters) of Appetizers to Share

~Salad Selection (Usually one or two max)

~Choice of Three Entrees
               (One or Two Seafood, Beef and a Chicken)
                Vegetarian Selection
               (We are happy to accommodate special needs like                                        Gluten Free, or No Dairy for example)

~Dessert Choice of Two, Coffee Service

Wine can be allocated by specific selections, or we have fantastic house selections that are reasonably priced.
